Well Control Course provides the understanding by all drilling personnel of theoretical and practical aspects of fluid pressures in well bore, well control techniques and equipment. It includes the utilization of a Drilling and Well Control Simulator or a Training Well to acquire the necessary expertise and confidence to prevent and control well kicks.
The candidate receives approval through a test, successful candidates are awarded an internationally recognized certificate now compulsory in many countries.
- Slide show
- White board
- Demonstration on simulator: taking a kick while drilling and how to circulate this influx out in a control manner.
