HISTORY OF THE CENTRE

From 1968

1968: Installation of FORASOL in Lescar to respond to the increasing demand in drilling due to Lacq’s field.

1979: Provision of first training centre in Lescar dedicated to well control training.

1992: Drilling of a training well and installation of IDECO H35 drilling rig thus ensuring training in real conditions.

1993: The training centre got IWCF accreditation for well control.

2002: IADC WellCAP accreditation.

2009: Unveiling of a new centre combining ecology and expertise.

2012 : Following the purchase of the company by Raigneau’s Group, the centre becomes Ecole Française de Forage (EFF).

2013 : Starts of Academic Diploma.

2014: Acquisition of new generation cyberchair.
